The Addis Ababa Agreements: New Peace Agreements

Three main outstanding issues with The Addis Ababa Agreements are: (1) Khartoum insists on having voting rights in Abyei granted to non-permanent residents, (2) Khartoum refuses to negotiate and sign ceasefire agreement with SPLM-N even though UN Security Council Resolution 2046 called for negotiations between the Sudanese government and the SPLM-North, and (3) Khartoum has not discussed humanitarian aid to South Kordofan and the Blue Nile State.
